Moving from jungle to desert, Peter Fletcher's design highlights plant varieties of Latin America. Palm trees, split-leaf philodendron, abutilon, Chilean mesquite, furcraea and other large species form the foundation for colorful species. The palette is a free-flowing mix of bright colors embracing alstroemeria, salvias, walking iris, princess flower, fuchsia, angel's trumpet, terrestrial bromeliads, tagetes and more. This garden comes alive with flowers, butterflies, and an abundant hummingbird population in mid to late summer.
